UK provided Ukraine with £2 million worth of medical equipment

The British government donated medical and resuscitation equipment worth 2 million pounds to Ukraine, including ventilators, a variety of ventilators, oxygen concentrators, pumps, monitors and heated humidifiers.

It is noted that this aid package will support Ukrainian hospitals and help equip about 60 beds in intensive care units.

« Our support for our friends from Ukraine is unwavering, and we want to help in any way possible. This package of assistance will support hospitals and complements advance supplies of medicines and medical equipment,” said Health and Human Services Secretary Victoria Atkins. The British government added that the shipment of equipment took place on March 5 and has now arrived in Ukraine, and this package is in addition to 357 million ​​pounds of humanitarian aid that the United Kingdom has provided since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

As Ukrinform reported, in early March, British farmers brought 27 pickup trucks with humanitarian aid to Lviv for Ukrainian defenders as part of the “Pickup Trucks for Peace” campaign. .
