As Ukrinform reports, Khmelnytsky mayor Oleksandr Simchishin announced this on Facebook.
“On the basis of the recreational center “Coast of Hope” An updated rehabilitation department for military personnel and their families became operational. The department has a capacity of 30 beds. In total, the center is designed for 110 people,” the message says.
According to Simchishin, the premises were completely renovated and modern equipment for physical and psychological rehabilitation was purchased. A new boiler room was installed. There is also an ergo-kitchen, a salt room, massage rooms, and rooms for various types of rehabilitation.
Here, as the mayor noted, the staff has almost tripled: experienced rehabilitation specialists, psychologists, and medical workers work. Some of them – – former military personnel, combat medics, among the workers there are family members of the fallen.
«Rehabilitation and recreation for military personnel who need it and their families are free once a year. In addition to physical and psychological rehabilitation, medical services, clients will have excursions, bike tours, Nordic walking classes, and the opportunity to play sports,” said Simchishin.
He added that the total cost of the project is more than UAH 5 million. The first arrival is scheduled for April 19.
