The Ministry of Health reports this, Ukrinform reports.

“More than 180 perinatal institutions across the country today use Sigmafon portable cardiotocography devices.” for remote diagnostics of pregnant patients. More than 10 thousand studies of pregnant patients have already been carried out,” the message says.

Cardiotocograph – a screening device that helps assess the intrauterine condition of the fetus, identify in advance possible abnormalities or threats to pregnancy and prevent them.

As the Ministry of Health said, in order to undergo such a study, you need to install a special application on your phone. The cardiotocograph is connected to the phone using a wireless connection.

The woman records the movement of the fetus by pressing a special button on the device.

Diagnostic results are stored in the application, and the doctor can view them remotely on his phone or using the web version of the telemedicine platform.

In interaction with the telemedicine platform “Carebits” The device allows you to remotely monitor diagnostic vital signs of the fetus. Next, the platform, using artificial intelligence, interprets the research results and generates an analytical report.

As the ministry notes, cardiotocography is completely safe for the expectant mother and child, because it does not use any harmful radiation or other negative effects on the body and does not require in interventions.

This solution helps to ensure effective and safe examination of patients at home, including those at risk of fetal pathology.
