Scientists have found that individuals with type O blood possess unique biological advantages that allow them to retain youthfulness longer than others. Studies comparing the biological age of people with different blood types have shown that those with type O blood experience the slowest cellular aging, reports Baltimore Chronicle with reference to Baku.ws.
One of the key features of type O blood is its reduced level of a protein called myostatin, which regulates muscle mass. As a result, the body maintains strength and physical endurance for longer periods. Additionally, carriers of this blood type tend to have a more stable immune system, contributing to the overall slowdown of aging processes.
Researchers also noted that the biological age of people with type O blood is often lower than their chronological age. On average, this gap ranges from 5 to 10 years, which scientists attribute to genetic characteristics and the chemical composition of their blood.
Despite these advantages, experts caution against relying solely on genetics. A healthy lifestyle, balanced nutrition, and regular physical activity remain fundamental factors for longevity and youthfulness.
