In particular, we are talking about citizens who are abroad for more than 30 days in a row without justified and documented reasons.
In Ukraine, as of January 1, 2024, some internally displaced persons (IDPs) will no longer receive payments from the state. In particular, we are talking about citizens who are abroad for more than 30 calendar days in a row without justified and documented reasons. Also, displaced persons in prison or convicted of collaboration will not be able to receive assistance.
This is stated in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated July 11, 2023 No. 709 “On support for internally displaced persons.”
Who will have their payments cancelled?
- IDPs who purchased an apartment, house or plot for an amount exceeding UAH 100 thousand (except for housing received at the expense of the state or local budget);
- purchased a new vehicle, less than five years have passed since its manufacture (except for cars that were purchased by volunteers and donated to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine);
- have their own housing with an area of more than 13.65 square meters. m per family member in territories where there are no active (possible) hostilities or are not occupied;
- purchased foreign currency for a total amount of more than 100 thousand UAH (except for currency received from charitable organizations or purchased to pay for medical, social, educational services), as well as banking metals;
- have funds in a deposit bank account totaling more than 100 thousand UAH.
