LLC “Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine” received a license for gas distribution in the Rivne and Transcarpathian regions.
As Ukrinform reports, Naftogaz Group reported this.
“Starting January 1, 2024, Gazseti branches will distribute gas to more than 553 thousand customers in two regions – Rivne and Transcarpathian. The corresponding licenses were issued by the National Commission for State Regulation in the Fields of Energy and Utilities (NCREKU),” the statement says. .
Accordingly, the gas distribution licenses of Rovnogaz JSC and Zakarpatgaz JSC lose their validity.
Naftogaz noted that personal accounts and tariffs for gas distribution for residents of Rivne region and Transcarpathia will remain unchanged, but the details for paying for gas delivery will change.
As reported, on December 19, Naftogaz Group gained control over four more gas distribution companies, completing the integration of regional and city gas companies. Currently, the Group operates 27 gas distribution enterprises, which were planned to be transferred under state control by the end of this year.
