The Ukrainian military-industrial complex is not just being restored – it is becoming as productive as needed for a modern, technological war.
Vladimir Zelensky said this in a video message, Ukrinform reports.
“In total, about 300 thousand people are already working in our defense complex, and this is one of the greatest achievements of our state in several years. The Ukrainian military-industrial complex is not just being restored – it is becoming so productive, which is what is needed for a modern, technological war,” he said.

Zelensky noted that many state-owned enterprises, which had not worked for decades, have now launched production, including new types of weapons.
“Next year we have absolutely clear goals for artillery and drones and missiles and armored vehicles. One of our biggest political results this year is an agreement with partners, in particular with the United States, regarding our joint production of weapons “. Creation of new production facilities. Localization in Ukraine. Expansion of the repair base,” the President said.
According to him, all this gives Ukraine both defensive strength and economic strength: significant GDP growth and good jobs.
The head of the Ukrainian state expressed gratitude to each and everyone who is developing this Ukrainian industry, to everyone who puts their own work and ideas into the development of the Ukrainian defense industry.
“And I am confident that our defense industry – subject to such constant development – over time can definitely enter the top 10 most productive and powerful defense complexes in the world. This is the real potential of Ukraine, and our state can become one of the global donors of security and one of the strongest NATO members. We are working for this,” Zelensky concluded.
As reported, Zelensky said that Ukraine has tripled the production of weapons and equipment this year and will increase it in the future, since it must become so strong and effective that there is a response to every Russian strike.
