The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Nikolai Solsky discussed with the Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry of the Republic of Moldova Vladimir Bol the issue of accelerating the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products.
As Ukrinform reports, this was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
It is noted that the parties discussed issues related to the electronic queue system on the Moldovan-Romanian border and the need to synchronize it with the Ukrainian one. This will avoid the accumulation of trucks on the territory of Moldova and will facilitate faster transit of goods from Ukraine to Romania.
An agreement was reached on the cooperation of technical specialists to speed up the process of such synchronization.
As Ukrinform reported, the Moldovan Railway provides a discount on the transit transportation of grains and sunflower oil from Ukraine in the direction of the ports of Reni, Giurgiulesti and Galati. The new tariff conditions are valid from July 15, 2023.
