Traditional price fluctuations will occur in Ukraine.
The Ministry of Agricultural Policy believes that next year prices for basic products in Ukraine will remain stable, but only those produced in Ukraine.
This was stated by the first deputy head of the relevant minister Taras Vysotsky.
However, he did not rule out that in 2024, traditional price fluctuations will occur in Ukraine, but domestic products will be available to all consumers. Currently, sugar and sunflower oil are becoming cheaper.
“There is a stable situation compared to last year – literally 5% fluctuations – for meat and dairy products. We are talking about Ukrainian products. We share this because imports are expensive due to logistics. But we should not have problems with the production of feed, Therefore, in principle, there should be a stable situation for the main blocks of domestic products next year. It is quite possible that there will be traditional, but minor seasonal fluctuations. But nothing more,” he noted.
Earlier it became known that vegetables and fruits will become more expensive in Ukraine in the near future, the cost will increase monthly.
According to the NBU, the rate of consumer inflation in Ukraine over the last month of summer slowed to 8.6%.
