The Danish government has announced a new aid package for Ukraine in the amount of about 783 million Danish kroner (116 million dollars).
This was reported by the press service of the Danish government.
It is noted that the bulk of the funds will be used to purchase new military equipment through the Ukrainian defense industry and international partners.
As explained Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen, the twentieth military aid package was compiled taking into account the wishes and needs of Ukraine and will be useful both in the near future and in the future.
“Putin continues his brutal and bloody attacks on Ukrainians. It is very important that Denmark continues to support Ukraine so that it can defend itself,” he stressed.
In the new aid package, Denmark will allocate an industrial pool of 300 million crowns in 2024. In addition, an additional 112 million crowns will be allocated to finance purchases through Ukrainian defense enterprises.
