During martial law in Ukraine, the transfer of days off has been cancelled if a holiday falls on a day off (Saturday or Sunday).
The National Bank of Ukraine has published the regulations for the operation of electronic systems and banks at the end of the year. There will be no interruptions in work.
This is stated in the draft resolution of the NBU.
According to the draft published for discussion, the operating mode of the banking system of Ukraine and related systems is described for the period from the end of 2024 to the beginning of 2025.

Electronic payment system of the National Bank (SEP)will operate continuously, around the clock (24/7) with the date of the current calendar day, according to the established Technological Regulations.
Clearing and settlements in the Central Router system and the clearing and settlement center of the National Payment System “Ukrainian Payment Space” (“SPACE”) will be carried out in the usual mode.
Quantitative accounting system deposit certificates CERTIF, the NBU depository, as well as the NBU automated information system for loan agreements with non-residents and the Ukrainian foreign exchange market will operate as usual.
Payments in foreign currency from the State Treasury Service through the NBU and Ukreximbank will be made until 16:00.

The SEP will continue to operate continuously, 24/7 with the current date.
The entire banking system of Ukraine will function as usual.
CERTIF System, the NBU depository, the automated information system for loan agreements with non-residents, the foreign exchange market, as well as clearing and settlements in the “SPACE” system between participants will continue to operate in the standard mode.

We remind you that the National Bank of Ukraine predicts that tariffs for gas, heating and hot water will remain the same until 2026. However, from 2026, a gradual increase in tariffs is expected. These changes are indicated in the new NBU inflation report, which indicates that tariffs will not be revised in the period 2024-2025.
