Funds under the "Winter Support" program can be spent by the end of 2025.
Ukrainians have already submitted more than 6 million applications through Diia to receive a thousand hryvnias under the Winter Support program, and this number continues to grow.
This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
By the end of 2025, funds under the Winter Support program can be used for medicines, utilities, medical and educational services, as well as donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Currently, Ukrposhta clients are also receiving assistance, who can spend the funds on goods and services provided by the national postal operator.
From now on, partner banks are joining the program. This option is aimed at older people who do not use Diia, as well as guardians of minors. To receive money, it is enough to contact the bank, write an application, and the bank will open a special account for crediting funds.
Recall that earlier Prime Minister Denys Shmygal told how to correctly transfer “Zelensky's thousand” to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, this can be done with the help of officially registered Ukrainian charitable foundations.
