The hryvnia has weakened against the US dollar.
The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rate for Monday, December 16. The dollar has fallen before the weekend. The euro and zloty have increased in price.
This was reported on the NBU website.
Dollar exchange rate
- 1 US dollar – 41.60 (-5 kopecks)
Euro exchange rate
- 1 euro – 43.70 (+3 kopecks)
Zloty exchange rate
- 1 Polish zloty – 10.25 (+3 kopecks)
Recall that banker Taras Lesovoy reported what the dollar exchange rate will be in mid-December. According to him, the NBU is not interested in a significant devaluation of the hryvnia. Therefore, one should not expect global changes even despite the gradual increase in the exchange rate.
