The hryvnia has strengthened against the currency.

The National Bank has set the official exchange rate for Wednesday, January 1. On the first day of the year, the dollar and the zloty slightly   lost value. Meanwhile, the euro has decreased by 24 kopecks.

This was reported on the NBU website.

Dollar exchange rate

  • 1 US dollar – 42.02 (-1 kopeck)

Euro exchange rate

  • 1 euro – 43.68 (-24 kopecks)

Zloty exchange rate

  • 1 Polish zloty – 10.21 (-6 kopecks)

As reported, the NBU has again raised the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia. In the last days of the year, the American currency updated its historical maximum – the official rate crossed the level of 42 hryvnia per dollar for the first time.
