For most household consumers, the cost of gas will not change until the end of April 2025.
Ukrainian suppliers have published gas prices in Ukraine in January 2025. They assured that, despite all the media reports about a possible change in gas tariffs, the cost of blue fuel for the population will not change, at least until the end of the 2025 heating season.
GazPravda writes about this.
“For the vast majority of household consumers (the population), the cost of natural gas will not change, at least until the end of April 2025,” the statement says.
Customers of Naftogaz of Ukraine, which serves 98%, or more than 12 million households, will continue to pay UAH 7.96 per cubic meter of gas within the annual fixed price.
In January 2025, there are nine suppliers on the Ukrainian market. Of these, four offer both an annual fixed price and a monthly variable price. Another five suppliers offer only an annual price.
The publication explains that the annual price offers of other suppliers will not change. And monthly prices fluctuate almost every month, depending on market trends.
“The cost of a cubic meter of gas for the population within the framework of annual tariffs, depending on the gas supply company, ranges from UAH 7.79 to UAH 9.99. The monthly (market) price ranges from UAH 8.46 to UAH 19.99 per cubic meter,” GazPravda calculated.
It is noted that for more than 98% of household gas consumers, the annual price from Naftogaz continues to apply – UAH 7.96 per cubic meter.
Earlier it was reported that gas transportation for domestic consumers in Ukraine will quadruple in price.
Recall that on January 1, 2025, Ukraine will stop transiting Russian gas.
