Some government payments will no longer be taken into account.
In Ukraine, there have been some changes in the procedure for accounting for income for calculating subsidies. Certain government payments, in particular “Winter Subsidy” and “National Cashback”, will no longer be taken into account when determining the total family income.
This was reported by the press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine with reference to the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution.
According to the updated rules, payments under the specified programs are excluded from the total income taken into account when assigning housing subsidies. The changes also affected state aid related to cashless payments for Ukrainian-made goods within the framework of the “Made in Ukraine” initiative.
The changes affected the procedure for providing benefits, which takes into account the average monthly family income.
It is noted that one-time payments under the Winter Support and National Cashback programs are now included in the total family income when determining the right to benefits for paying for housing and communal services.
Let us recall what the subsistence minimum will be in 2025. It is noted that, according to the law on the state budget, the subsistence minimum per person from January 1 will be 2920 hryvnia, that is, it will remain at the level of 2024.
