Last year, the electricity tariff increased to UAH 4.32 per kilowatt-hour.
The cost of electricity in Ukraine has increased in 2024. Currently, the electricity tariff is UAH 4.32 per kilowatt-hour. It must be in effect until at least May of this year.
This was reported by People's Deputy Serhiy Nagornyak on air at Channel 24.
According to him, there is no reason to raise the current tariff now.
“We need to raise the tariff to 6 hryvnia, or to 6.30 hryvnia, there is absolutely none this year,” he emphasized.
Nagornyak explains that the current tariff is sufficient to cover expenses. This price for electricity should be in effect at least until the end of this year, ideally until the end of the heating season from 2025 to 2026.
Recall that we previously reported on how much Ukrainians need to pay for electricity from January 1.
