In 2025, prices for a number of products will rise in Ukraine.
This was announced on the air of the telethon by MP Ivan Chaikovsky.
According to his forecasts, an increase in prices for basic products should be expected as early as the spring.
In particular, the following will rise in price:
- chocolate (up to 80-85 UAH per bar)
- vegetables, especially potatoes
- fruits
- bread
- pasta
Pricing is influenced by many factors. In particular, weather and climate conditions, farmer technologies and war.
“Today, the agricultural sector needs to reorient itself in its production,” he noted.
For example, vegetable growing is moving to the central regions. However, it takes time to reconfigure.
The cost of products is affected by logistics, processing, taxes, electricity and fuel prices, and labor shortages. Storage of products, especially vegetables, is also an important factor, because they have become more expensive.
Earlier it was reported that garlic prices in Ukraine reached a record high.
