The price of table beets in Ukraine has increased by 24% compared to the end of last week.

The price of table beets is now 14-18 UAH/kg ($0.33-0.43/kg). This increase in price is due to limited supply on the market.
Compared to last year, beet prices have increased by 35%. However, experts do not rule out that this is a temporary increase, and over time, with the emergence of new supplies, prices may decrease.
“However, market participants do not rule out that the upward price trend may be temporary. In their opinion, further price increases may motivate farmers to start selling beets from storage, which will lead to increased supplies and, as a result, to lower prices in this segment,” the report says.
Recall that the popular vegetable has risen in price to a record high in the markets.
