President Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine will be able to find ways to close financial gaps caused by the freezing of USAID. Particularly critical financing of the energy sector and assistance to veterans remains.

“Energy is now a painful topic, because it is constantly under blows. But we will find a way to block this deficit. The issue of veterans remains especially important. Leave them without support, we will do everything possible, ”the president emphasized.

“In some cities there were direct contracts with USAID. Organizers and journalists also received certain support. But I can’t say exactly which projects suffered,” he explained.
Zelensky also noted that he had already addressed to The Minister of Finance with a request to provide a detailed report on the impact of USAID freezing on the budget of Ukraine.
“I asked my Minister of Finance to show where we need to find funds and he demonstrated it. Yes, we will cope,” – The president summed up.
