In Ukraine, on Wednesday, February 26, schedules for limiting the capacity of industry and business will be applied.
As reported by Ukrinform, NEC Ukrenergo reported this in Telegram.
“Tomorrow, February 26, capacity restrictions will be applied to industry and businesses. The time of application of restrictions is 16:00 – 19:00,” the statement said.
No power outages are expected for household consumers.
Ukrenergo noted that the reason for the temporary introduction of restrictions is damage to energy facilities as a result of Russian missile and drone attacks.
The time of application and the scope of restrictions during the day may change.
Ukrenergo advised citizens to follow the information on the website or official pages of the regional power companies on social networks and to consume electricity sparingly.
As reported by Ukrinform, during its period of operation, the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine helped restore 2 GW of generating capacity.
