Analysts conducted a large -scale survey among the population of Ukraine to determine the local well -being index in cities.
In 2024, the economic index is still negative. But he increased somewhat compared to 2023 due to improving the assessment of income of Ukrainians and ease of searching for work. But the general index of local well -being decreased compared to 2023: from 0.08 to -0.01 on a scale from -3 to +3. The decrease trend is observed in most regions of Ukraine.
This is stated in the report of the analytical center Rating Lab, which submitted a new study on the income of Ukrainians.
Where it is better to conduct business in Ukraine
At the same time, according to the study, the ease of business has not changed.
“Kyiv remains the only region with the positive value of the indicator of economic capabilities (0.4). In the remaining 22 regions, the value of the negative (-0.5 and lower),” experts say.
In general, relatively the best grades among areas have:
- Odessa (-0.6),
- Kiev (-0.6),
- Rivne (-0.6),
- Kharkov (-0, 6),
- Lviv (-0.6),
- Kharkov (-0.7).
But the worst indicators are observed in the Kherson, Sumy, Kirovograd, Chernihiv, Poltava, Nikolaev, Ternopol, Zaporizhzhya, Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi regions.
Also, experts note that residents of regional centers are better than others evaluate the economic position in their village.
Among the age categories of assessment, they have not changed significantly: only among young people 16-34 years old, analysts recorded a noticeable positive change in 0.2 points.
“also exists between the income and assessment of the state of the economy of their city/village: than what above income, the higher this assessment, ”the study says.
We note that the sample was made among 9681 respondents (or a minimum of 354 respondents for the region (the respondent’s accommodation at the time of the survey).
It also became known that the residents of Transcarpathian, Chernivtsi regions and Kyiv think most of all about moving abroad.
