Ukraine and the IMF have reached an agreement at the staff level on the seventh review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program. Ukraine will receive the next tranche of $15.5 billion from the program after the review is approved by the Fund's Executive Board.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this in Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“Ukraine and the IMF have reached an agreement at the staff level on the seventh review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program. The total volume of the program is about USD 15.5 billion. We will be able to receive the next tranche after the review is approved by the IMF Executive Board,” he wrote.

Shmyhal expressed gratitude to the Government and NBU teams for their thorough work, and also thanked the Fund for its support and stable partnership.

As reported by Ukrinform, this year Ukraine will receive various aid in the amount of 8 billion euros from the European Union, Norway and Spain, another 10.6 billion dollars will be given by Great Britain and Canada, and Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and the Baltic countries will also contribute to the stability of Ukraine.
