Demand for blue-collar jobs will continue to grow as the country continues to recover.
At the end of 2024, the average salary in Ukraine increased by 23.1%.
The State Statistics Service reported this.
The greatest growth is observed in the following areas:
- IT specialists and representatives of the telecommunications sector – they earn almost 52.5 thousand UAH
- aviation transport specialists – 43.9 thousand UAH
- specialists in the financial and insurance sectors – 41.4 thousand UAH
- For example, Ukrainians who have linked their lives with culture have small salaries. Employees of libraries, theaters and museums receive an average of more than 13 thousand UAH per month
What is the salary in other areas:
- education – 14.6 thousand UAH
- healthcare and provision of social assistance – not less than 16.9 thousand UAH
- in the hotel and restaurant industry they do not reach 15.9 thousand UAH
- in the postal sector – barely exceeds the figure of 16.1 thousand UAH
- the average salary of builders is just over 16.9 thousand UAH
- workers in the leading export industry – agriculture – receive 17.6 thousand UAH
It was previously reported that the average salary in 2025 will increase to UAH 25,732 , which is 18.4% more than last year. This is the Cabinet of Ministers' forecast. However, given the projected inflation of 12.4%, the real growth will be only 6.5%. The largest increase in wages is expected in the processing industry and medium-sized enterprises.
