At the same time, tariffs for a number of items remained at the same level.
In Ukraine, over the past year, prices for housing and communal services have increased significantly. Electricity has increased in price the most — the cost has increased by 63.6%.
This was reported by the State Statistics Service.
According to the agency, from February last year to February 2025, utility tariffs increased by 19.3% overall. In addition to electricity, the following also increased in price:
- by 10.7% – for the removal of household waste
- by 9.6% – for the service of managing apartment buildings
- by 3.5% – for housing maintenance and repairs
- by 0.7% – for water supply
- by 0.6% – for sewerage
However, the cost of a number of other services remained at the same level. Namely:
- natural gas

Let us recall that the NBU reported that utility tariffs will remain unchanged in 2025. However, from 2026, a gradual reduction of tariffs to economically justified levels is expected.
