The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on March 18, 2025 received UAH 17.2 billion equivalent to the sovereign budget through an auction for the placement of a domestic government position bond (IDPP).
As reported by Ukrinform, the press service of the Ministry of Finance informed Facebook about this.
“Today (February 18 – ed.) the Ministry of Finance issued bonds in the amount of 17.2 billion hryvnia in equivalent,” the announcement reads.
According to the Ministry of Finance, investors were issued hryvnia OVDP: 5.1 billion UAH at 16.35% with repayments in 1.4 terms and 3.4 billion UAH at 17.45% with repayments in 2.4 terms.
Bonds nominated in the euro were also pledged: 191 million euros at 3.24% with repayments in 1 rika.
As reported, on April 10, 1995, the first issue of domestic power position bonds (IDPS) was issued in Ukraine. Over the past 30 years, Ukraine has generated over 3.3 trillion UAH in market intelligence.
