The new checkpoint “Pallad – Nodgodosh” at the Ukrainian-Ugric border will be ready for work at the beginning of the new month.
Viktor Mikita, the protector of the ceramics industry, told the Office of the President of Ukraine about this on Facebook, reports Ukrinform.
“At the beginning of the current year, we are launching a new checkpoint “Velika Palad – Nodgodosh” in Transcarpathia. This is the first new checkpoint, opened in just tens of years. The project is an important element of regional development from the viewpoint of the border rukh and transcordon connections between the Ukrainian region and the Szabolcs-Szatmar-Bereg region in Ugorshchyna,” Mikita said.
As a result, the new checkpoint will allow passenger vehicles with a load of up to 3.5 tons to cross the cordon.
“Here we have already carried out the installation of a modular type of mitnoy and border infrastructure for the work of personnel on the Ukrainian and Ugric sides. Recently, work has been completed on the expansion of the Maidan and the road section between the new checkpoint and cleared directly to the flow of transport,” he added.
He noted that the Ukrainian team “reported a lot of progress at the regional and national levels, so that the opening of the PP becomes possible at the earliest possible hour.”
Also, according to Mikity, the Ugric partners played an important role, as they encouraged the initiative and collapsed to the foreign exchange rates all the time.
Earlier, in an interview with Ukrinform, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration named checkpoints at the cordons as responsible for requesting goods for the export of products from relocation enterprises.
