Egg prices in Ukraine may fall after Easter when demand falls.
Egg prices in Ukraine should drop significantly in 1.5-2 months. According to forecasts, the average annual price of one egg will be 4.5-5 UAH.
The director of the State Experimental Poultry Station of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, Oleg Katerinich, spoke about this on air at KIEV24.
Currently, there is an increase in the cost of eggs due to the seasonal increase in prices in the spring. However, after the Easter celebration on April 20, demand will decrease and prices will probably also go down.
As of March 22, the average price of a dozen Yasensvit eggs of the first category in Ukrainian supermarkets is 72.86 UAH, which is 5.58 UAH more than at the beginning of February.
