During the current year 2025, UAH 336.6 billion was allocated to the security and defense sector from the depleted budget.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine informed Telegram about this, Ukrinform reports.
It is indicated that these payments will amount to 62.5% of the total amount of expenditures of the federal budget fund.

Costs are directly provided for penny security for military servicemen, private soldiers and commanders, police officers; accessories for military/special equipment, equipment, ammunition, defense products, individual protection products, burning materials, food products; medical care and other expenses to ensure the functioning of organs and molding.
According to Ukrinform, 131 billion UAH have been allocated from the state budget for the security and defense sector in 2025.
Over UAH 2.2 trillion, or 26.3% of GDP, was transferred to security and defense forces.
