Within the boundaries of the state program of compensation for the destruction of agricultural lands, one thousand hectares were turned over to the state land.
The Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Igor Bezkaravainy reported this at the briefing, the Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Talking about this program, he said that its participants can be from farmers who work legally, pay taxes legally and have no ties with Russia. Applications for the clearance of obstructed plots are accepted through the State Agrarian Register.
“After the lot is verified, confirming the fact of its confusion, an approximate estimate of the exchange rate is determined, and this “lot” is placed on Prozorro. Operators of this activity – private companies (most importantly Ukrainian ones) – are vying for the right to cancel the contract. The money for the program is saved in a special escrow bank. Neither farmers can have access to them, nor can they help the auction under which the contract for agricultural work is established,” Posadov explained the mechanism of financing the program.
And after the work has been completed, inspected and given a cleanliness certificate, which confirms that the plot is safe, the cost is attributed to the operator of the labor activity.
So far, not all farmers know about this program and understand the algorithm of this process, as stated by Bezkaravainy. That’s why the registry contains a lot of applications that were issued by way of approval.

As it was reported, the government program of compensation for the destruction of agricultural lands was requested in the spring of 2024. It transfers 100% of the compensation for the land that is being degraded, and 80% of the compensation for the land that has already been degraded, which the farmer can document.
