The International Monetary Fund has a Memorandum on Economic and Financial Policy within the Expanded Financing Program (EFF), having identified several existing structural beacons for Ukraine, as well as adding several new ones.
The head of the Supreme Committee for Finance, Tax and Mint Policy, Danilo Getmantsev, informed Telegram about this.
“During the ongoing review of the EFF program, the Memorandum on economic and financial policy recognized significant changes. The lines of 4 active beacons were moved to indicate delays in the implementation of the EFF program and the progress of reforms,” says Getmantsev.
Zokrem, the recognition of the new policy of the Bureau of Economic Security was moved from the end of the summer to the end of 2025, and the submission of a bill on the protection of critical third parties to the financial sector – from the beginning to the end of 2025.
Amendments to the Criminal Procedural Code have also been postponed to strengthen the fight against corruption, in the context of the so-called “Lozovoy amendments” – from April 2024 to June 2025. The Hetmans shouted that this lighthouse should be transferred to the third place.
In addition, the publication of the latest audit of the effectiveness of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has been postponed from late 2025 to late 2025.
Recently, several new structural beacons have been added: development of an operational plan for the implementation of the IT strategy for traffic police and voluntary health insurance within the framework of the National Revenue Strategy – until the end of spring 2025; The adoption of sectoral strategies is consistent with the new strategy for managing sovereign investments – until the end of 2025.
Among the new beacons, an independent review of the professional qualifications and business reputation of the NCPFR is also carried out – until the end of 2025 and a review of the selection procedure and recognition to visual rad state enterprises – until the end of the year 2025.
“At the upcoming 8th review, which is most likely to happen in the past, structural beacons for reforms from the Viconts will be placed in the middle of the flow of fate,” predicts Getmantsev.
