Photo on the eve of the National Guard Day, which marks the 26th of February, the National Bank presented a new commemorative coin “National Guard of Ukraine”.

“It is my honor to present a commemorative coin dedicated to the National Guardsmen, and to greet them with the coming professional saint – the Day of the National Guard of Ukraine. This is our symbolic gift and a sign of valor to all representatives of the Ukrainian National Guard for their service to the people, for the indiscretion of their military service, for their courage and vigor, for your patriotism and readiness to self-sacrifice for the sake of freedom. Ukrainian people,” the head said NBU Andriy Pishny.
The commemorative coin has a face value of 10 hryvnia, made from a zinc-based alloy with a nickel coating.
The obverse of the coin is identical to the obverse of the obverse coin with a face value of 10 hryvnia for the 2018 year. On the new one in the center, framed by an ancient Russian ornament, is the denomination of the coin, the river carbuvania and the State Coat of Arms of Ukraine.
On the reverse of the coin, there are inscriptions on the stake that reflect the fundamental values – HONOR, COURAGE, LAW (Ugrian) and NATIONAL GUARD OF UKRAINE (below). The main element of the composition is the image of the beret badge of the National Guard of Ukraine, which is based on a straight, even-sided cross with separate ends. At the center of the cross, near the octagon, is depicted the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine. In the background of the coin there is a symbolic shield, which is intended for protection and safety.
The obligatory commemorative coin “National Guard of Ukraine” is bound to its denomination for all types of ready-made payments and insured for rackets.
The National Bank consistently supports banks and SIT companies with such obligatory commemorative coins for further distribution to clients. They will be accepted by clients as the original coins with a face value of 10 hryvnia.

A maximum of 10 million pieces of such obog commemorative coins will be introduced into the ready-made coins.
Today, part of the circulation of the obligatory commemorative coin “National Guard of Ukraine” (520 thousand pieces) will be molded in a specially designed roller. The video contains 25 of these big commemorative coins. Circulation of videos – 20 thousand. pcs.
You can add a video for 25 total commemorative coins “National Guard of Ukraine” from 27 February 2025 in the online store of numismatic products of the National Bank of Ukraine (12 thousand of such videos will be sold), as well as distribution banks (their transfer is listed on the page of the official Internet representation of the National Bank).
As reported, the National Bank of Ukraine at the International Numismatic Exhibition World Money Fair 2025 presented the Ukrainian collection of over 20 commemorative coins and medals produced in 2022–2024. Commemorative coins were dedicated to the events of the Russian-Ukrainian war, monuments of architecture and the rich national cultural decline, sports victories, tributes and heroes of Ukraine.
