The National Agency, with the approval of asset management, terminated the agreement with LLC “Karpatski Mineralnye Vody” for the management of Morshynska assets through a separate agreement.
The press service of the National Agency reported this, Ukrinform reports.
“The National Agency for Asset Management (ARMA) has terminated the agreement with the manager of the arrested Morshynska LLC – Karpatski Mineralnye Vody LLC.” The company was persuaded to enter into an agreement through legislative agreements due to the need to comply with the sanctioned persons – the holder of the seized asset and the difficulty of delaying the process of obtaining permission to concentrate in the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine,” says the informant.
Tomorrow a new competition will be announced to select an assessment of the seized asset for a new current assessment with reviews. Additional documents are already being prepared.
At the same time, the beginning of the competition for the selection of a manager will be announced from the competition for evaluation, which will arise from the collection of market consultations on the ARMA website.
After removing the independent assessment of the asset, conducting market consultations, establishing criteria and qualifications, the National Agency publishes this asset on Prozorro.
As the head of ARMA, Olena Duma, supported this situation, citing the fact that in Ukraine there is no law that would unblock the management of seized corporate rights. Let's talk about bill No. 10069.
“The second is the need to introduce changes to the special law on ARMA, since unblocking the management of corporate rights will negatively affect the revenue portion of the state budget. The effectiveness of management would be a significant asset,” the Duma added.
As it was reported, in early 2022, the court arrested the corporate rights of IDS Ukraine (the company holding the Morshynska trademark), among the shareholders of which was the Russian oligarch Mikhailo Fridman, who often 18.23% shares.
At November 2022, 100% of the seized shares were transferred to the Agency in consultation with asset management. In the subsequent competition for the selection of a manager for the seized assets, LLC “Karpatskie Mineralnye Vody” became the winner.
