One of Britain's largest car makers, Jaguar Land Rover, will slow down deliveries of its vehicles until the US this month as the company faces losses stemming from President Donald's 25% tariffs. Trump.
Bloomberg reports about this, Ukrinform reports.
The US government allocated 25% of the tax on imported cars, as a result of the fourth quarter.
“The US is an important market for JLR's luxury brands. “We are putting into action our short-term calls, including a pause in the current order, while we are breaking down our mid-term long-term plans,” according to the company.
In the 12 months leading up to 2024, Jaguar Land Rover sold 430,000 vehicles, about a quarter of which were sold in Western America. The Russian company reported a drop in quarterly profits by 17%.
As Ukrinform reported, US President Donald Trump shipped the 25-hundred-hundred-hundred-pound vehicle to vehicles that are imported to the United States.
