Ukrainian growers of this year have reduced the price of potatoes to 15-25 UAH/kg through streams in this segment.

According to data from market operators, the position of this year's potatoes has lost its volume, as streams will flow into the products. In addition, many buyers were concerned about the quality of the products offered, and were often encouraged to make purchases.
“Nina (5th quarter – ed.) wholesale prices for potatoes in Ukraine dropped to 15-25 UAH/kg (0.36-0.46 USD/kg), due to the cost and obligations of registered parties, by an average of 10% cheaper, less like last year’s work,” says the insider.
The project’s analysts noted that potato crops in Ukraine are on average 25% more expensive than in the same period last year. At the same time, looking at the current price of these products on the market, Ukrainian farmers predict that they will become cheaper in the future.
As it was reported, when the supply of carrots on the Ukrainian market was reduced, prices for these products decreased by an average of 10%.
