In Ukraine, in the beginning of 2025, promotions in supermarkets and reduced prices for milk and milk contributed to the stabilization of prices for finished dairy products.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Association of Milk Producers (AVM) reports.
“Over the past month, there has been a gradual stabilization of prices for finished dairy products in Ukraine. The main reason is the lower prices for milk and milk, which is now in its third month. As a result, milk and milk fell in price by 18% from its maximum figures for breastfeeding in 2024,” noted the association’s analysts.
It is indicated that dairy processing enterprises will carry out promotional discounts on dairy products as part of trade measures in order to stimulate consumption of dairy products by the population of Ukraine. Over the past month there has been a weakening in prices for 72.5% fat butter, Maasdam cheese and pasteurized milk.
Thus, in the 3rd quarter the price of pasteurized milk was at the level of the previous month and in the middle it was 59 UAH/kg (+ 26% before last month).
Kefir with a fat content of 2.5% in the middle was 70.48 UAH/kg, which was also the same as last month (+30% until last month). The price for sour cream with 15% fat content is set at the average 175.56 UAH/kg (+4% and +38% uniformly).
Due to the availability of nutritious yoghurt, the average price, consistent with the level of last month, became 111.18 UAH/kg (+26% to the same level). Also, the price of yogurt in glasses has not changed since last month – up to 159.10 UAH/kg (+20% until last month).
Recently, the average price for fermented milk cheese with 9% fat content dropped to 283.01 UAH/kg. The product increased in price over the month by 4% and by 26% compared to the previous month.
A pack of top butter (180 g) with a fat content of 73%, ham vibronitsa in the average price of 107.91 UAH (+45% until the end of the day).
The price for “Ukrainian” cheese with 50% fat content in supermarkets has remained stable since last month and the average price for the product is 463.40 UAH/kg (+27% until last month). This is how “Maasdam” sires with 45% fat increased in price – up to 500.66 UAH/kg (+31% until last year) and “Gouda” with 45% fat – up to 542.23 UAH/kg (+36%).
In recent months and last month, the price of “Dutch” cheese with 45% fat content has increased – up to 479.93 UAH/kg (+2% and +27% similar) and “Mozzarella” with firm fat content of 45% Ukrainian virobnitstva – up to 495.06 UAH/kg (+3% and +30%).
As it was reported, at the beginning of birch production in Ukraine, prices for low dairy products increased, which exceeded the indicators of the past.
