Prices for greenhouse tomatoes in Ukraine continue to decline and their volume has dropped to 65-85 UAH/kg, which is 19% lower than non-gross prices.

According to market participants, the decline in prices in the greenhouse tomato segment was provoked by increased supply of imported products, and the pace has increased significantly.
Thus, imported tomatoes in Ukraine are sold on average 19% cheaper than in the same period last year. However, most market operators believe that such a trend may remain relevant in the coming years.
As it was reported, Ukrainian growers of this year have reduced the price of potatoes to 15-25 UAH/kg through streams from this segment.
