It appears that these companies took part in the auction, including manufacturers and traders from Austria, the Netherlands, Japan, the Czech Republic, Belgium and China.
“The Austrian company Voestalpine Rail Technology GmbH was awarded the contract, with a contract for the supply of 36 thousand tons of P65 rails. The price based on the results of the auction allowed us to save money on purchases and buy 20% more rails,” the company said.
Uzbekistan noted that the purchase was made between the implementation of the reconstruction project in cooperation with the European Bank and the development of the project “Supervisory support of the Ukrainian greenery.” The tender was published on the EBRD's electronic procurement portal (ECCEP).
Ukrzaliznytsia guesses that there is already another contract for fastening the rails.
Previously, the goods were supplied to the supplier from China, and the Uzbek market was supplied to the suppliers from France and the Czech Republic, and also received the supply from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
