The Verkhovna Rada does not plan to pass the bill on the creation of a crypto reserve in Ukraine (No. 13356), reports Baltimore Chronicle, citing the source Ukrainian News.
Head of the Committee on Finance, Tax, and Customs Policy, Daniil Getmantsev, stated that during discussions with the head of the National Bank, it was concluded that there would be no support for this initiative due to the high volatility of cryptocurrencies.
“It seems to me that the authors of this bill did not expect the National Bank to greet this document with applause,” Getmantsev noted. He also added that there is no intention to adopt this bill at this time.
