The Kyiv authorities responded to a petition from citizens, which asked to install validators for contactless fare payment in minibuses. The text of the response was published on the KSCA website.

According to the mayor’s office’s response, it is clear that authorities will not install validators, and carriers must independently organize such a payment system for services.
The letter notes that the introduction of cashless fare payment in route taxis is possible only if carriers join ASOP, an automated fare payment system.< /p>
“The executive body of the Kiev City Council is negotiating with privately owned carriers serving bus routes about the need to join the automated fare payment system (ASOP),” the response says.
Remember , that the petition of Kiev residents to install validators received 6 thousand votes on December 1.
Earlier, the Ministry of Finance wrote that some minibuses in the Kiev region began to accept non-cash payments by card.
