The Supervisory Board of the state-owned Sense Bank elected Alexey Stupak Chairman of the Board. This was reported by the press service of Sense Bank.

“The selection took place with the involvement of the internationally recognized expert recruiting company Odgers Berndtson. “As part of a thorough selection process, more than 30 candidates were considered,” the bank’s statement says.
Stupak will assume the duties of head of the board after his candidacy has been approved by the National Bank of Ukraine.
Who is Alexey Stupak
Sense Bank noted that Alexey Stupak has 21 years of experience in the banking sector, in particular in the corporate business of leading Ukrainian banks.
He began his banking activities in 2002 at Pravex Bank, where he was responsible for working with corporate and VIP clients.
Since 2008, he held senior positions at Crede Agricole Bank.
Joined the Sense Bank team in June 2019. In particular, Alexey held the position of director of corporate business, after which he moved to the position of curator of corporate investment, small and medium-sized businesses, which he still holds to this day.

On July 22, the government and the NBU completed the nationalization procedure of Sense Bank (formerly Alfa-Bank). Dmitry Kuzmin was appointed chairman of the board, but three weeks later he resigned. Deputy Chairman of the Board Elena Zubchenko was appointed acting head of the bank.
The “Ministry of Finance” wrote that the state’s share in the banking sector of Ukraine after the nationalization of Sense Bank increased to 53. 2% on net assets.
