The head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, Danilo Getmantsev, denied information about an 18% tax for transfers from card to card. He wrote about this in his telegram channel.

Getmantsev’s position
“Another self-proclaimed mad expert, in his usual attempt to find cheap hype, wrote on his Facebook that every transfer to the account of each person is in accordance with the National Strategy approved by the government income will be taxed at 18%,” Getmantsev noted.
According to him, in the pre-New Year vacuum of economic information, the “news” was carried.
“Knowing the answer, I re-read the strategy myself. Supposedly not found. But the sediment remained. Well, are we really so infantile that in the second year of the war we have to fight against absolute inadequate people and their conscious or unconscious (in its absence) pro-Russian IPSO? Let’s finally move from the year of the rabbit to the year of the dragon!” Getmantsev emphasized.

Background
On December 28, Anatoly Amelin, director of economic programs at the Ukrainian Institute of the Future analytical center, announced on Facebook that any receipts to an individual’s card will be taxed at 18%. Allegedly, this norm is included in the National Revenue Strategy for 2024.
