Receipts of customs payments to the state budget of Ukraine in January 2024 amounted to UAH 47.3 billion. This was reported by the press service of the State Customs Service.

It is noted that this amount exceeded the expected revenues to the treasury by UAH 11 billion or 30.3%.
What contributed to this
Among the main factors that positively influenced the state of filling budget:
- unblocking checkpoints on the western border of Ukraine, which contributed to an increase in their throughput (in January, 100,270 vehicles were passed, which is more in 2010 than in December 2023), reducing customs clearance time goods and commercial vehicles (the average time in January was 94 minutes), payment of deferred customs duties, etc.
