Ukrainian banks have issued 33,199 loans since December 2020 for a total amount of UAH 105.4 billion. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance.

As of February 1, 2024, 29 creditor banks service 19,080 loans in the amount of 67.2 billion hryvnia. Liabilities for the principal debt, partially secured by government guarantees on a portfolio basis, amounted to UAH 30.8 billion. This is about 70% of the total limit of guarantees provided (UAH 43.9 billion).
At the same time, in January 2024, 567 loan agreements were concluded in the amount of more than UAH 1.9 billion. with the share of obligations on the principal debt guaranteed by the state amounting to UAH 0.98 billion.
In terms of the number of loans serviced as of February 1 of this year, under government guarantees on a portfolio basis, Privatbank continues to lead, servicing 13,011 loans for a total amount of UAH 23.3 billion, which is 67% of the limit of such guarantees provided to this bank.< /p>
The second largest number of such loans is Oschadbank: 2,795 loans for more than UAH 11 billion (87% of the bank’s limit).
The largest volume of loans is serviced:
- in Kyiv – 1,874 loans for UAH 6.6 billion; in the Dnipropetrovsk region – 1,585 loans worth UAH 5.3 billion; in the Kyiv region – 1224 loans worth UAH 4.6 billion; in the Lviv region – 1,590 loans worth UAH 4.6 billion.
By type of economic activity, more loans, partially secured by state guarantees on a portfolio basis, are serviced in the following areas:
- agriculture – 6,754 loans for a total amount of UAH 34.4 billion; wholesale and retail trade, vehicle repairs – 7,146 loans worth UAH 15.7 billion; processing industry – 2,494 loans for UAH 11.5 billion; transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities – 1014 loans for UAH 2.2 billion.
