The National Bank during the week, from February 26 to March 1, bought $29.60 million on the interbank foreign exchange market and sold $320.90 million. The net sale of currency amounted to $291.30 million versus $647.83 million last week. This is evidenced by the regulator's data.

Thus, the National Bank reduced the net sale of foreign currency by $356.53 million compared to last week.

Worth It should be noted that the purchase of foreign currency by the National Bank this week increased to $29.60 million – this is the highest figure since November 2022, when the regulator bought $31.54 million over the week.

Since the beginning of 2024, the NBU on the interbank :

    bought $47.89 million; sold $4,147.91 million;

net sales of foreign currency amounted to $4,100.02 million.
