The Cabinet of Ministers is working on expanding the list of categories of internally displaced persons who will be able to receive government assistance. Thus, proposals for changes to the resolution have already been developed, which approved the procedure for providing assistance for the residence of IDPs. This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.

Who is planned to be included in the category of IDPs
It is proposed to include in the category of IDPs who are entitled to the following payments:
children placed in a family foster carer; foster carers; children temporarily placed in a family of relatives, acquaintances, a foster family, a family-type orphanage;
seriously ill persons who have not been identified as disabled.

If the average monthly total income per recipient in such a family is not more than 9,444 UAH.
- persons of pre-retirement age; persons with group III disabilities; people who care for a child under 3 years of age or a child in need of care up to 6 years of age; persons whose family includes children under 18 years of age and/or under 23 years of age who are full-time or dual-education students in vocational (vocational), vocational and higher education institutions.

From March 1, the conditions for receiving payments for IDPs have changed.
