Ukraine has significantly increased sugar exports to African countries since the beginning of March. In particular, Cameroon, Libya and Guinea received 8 thousand tons or 20% of Ukrainian sugar exports in March. This was stated by the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reports.

Ukraine is actively developing a new direction for sugar exports. During March, almost 8 thousand tons of product were supplied to three African countries – Cameroon, Libya and Guinea,” Vysotsky noted.
According to him, in general, the situation on the sugar market is stable. The produced sugar is enough for the internal needs of Ukrainians and ensuring the necessary volumes of exports.
