According to him, DneproHES does not produce electricity and the timing of the resumption of work is still unknown. At the same time, he noted that certain tests are being carried out.
“The fact that there is equipment that cannot be restored but will require replacement is obvious. We understand that this is custom-made equipment and the production time is quite long. But regarding the equipment that will be subject to replacement and major repairs, we can say later,” said Sirota.
He also noted that it would take at least 3-4 days to clear the rubble and get to the main equipment.

Remember
On Friday, March 22, Russia carried out the largest attack on the Ukrainian energy sector in recent times. The enemy, among other things, fired at the largest hydroelectric power station in Ukraine – the DneproHPP in Zaporozhye.
Ukrhydroenergo reported two direct hits on the DneproHPP – at HPP-1 and HPP-2. It is not yet known whether it will be possible to restore the latter, because it was seriously damaged.
