Citizens of Ukraine will be able to pay for goods and services provided by individual entrepreneurs and legal entities, both in cash and through money transfers. This clarification was provided by the National Bank of Ukraine in the telegram channel.

Explanation of the National Bank
“False information is being spread on social networks that citizens will not be able to make transfers or pay in cash for services and goods of private entrepreneurs and other legal entities. This is not so,” the message says.
The NBU notes that it has introduced increased transparency of cash-out operations. That is, cash transferred by citizens in favor of individual entrepreneurs/legal entities must be credited by payment service providers to the latter’s accounts (by IBAN number) in non-cash form.

“That is, nothing changes for citizens: they can still choose the type of transfer that is convenient for them and payment for services or goods of individual entrepreneurs and other legal entities — in cash or non-cash,” the regulator noted.
Background
As the Ministry of Finance wrote, the National Bank of Ukraine proposes changes to the organization for public discussion cash operations by banks and conducting payment transactions by payment service providers in Ukraine.
In connection with this, some media outlets disseminated information that the NBU plans to prohibit business entities from cashing individuals without opening an account.
