The buyer was Anthony Jabin, a technical investor in the Beverly Hills area, Los Angeles. He said that he “always dreamed” of being next to Monroe.
Geffner, who died in 2017 at the age of 91, bought a crypt next to the 1950s movie star back in 1992.
Along with a place in the crypt, Jabeen purchased at the auction a bathing suit that once belonged to the actress and an old Gefner bed.
Other things of the actress also decorated the auction room, including a pink Pucci dress made of silk jersey with long sleeves . It was bought for $325 thousand.
